Since 1990, Dr. John Sherk has directly led and helped organizations with organizational change, executive leadership, profit margin improvement, and team alignment. More recently, he has focused on HVAC contractors' recruiting and retention challenges. John’s grandfather was a technician and his mother worked for a multi-national HVAC company for 40 years. After completing master’s degrees from the University of Notre Dame and Loyola University Chicago, he wrote his Ph.D. dissertation on organizational commitment in HVAC technicians in the context of high unemployment.

Since 1990, Dr. John Sherk has directly led and helped family-owned companies with organizational change, executive leadership, profit margin improvement and team alignment. More recently he has set his focus on the family succession process in family-owned HVAC companies. John has obtained master’s degrees from University of Notre Dame and Loyola University Chicago. He wrote his Ph.D. dissertation at the University of Southern Mississippi with a focus on organizational commitment in HVAC mechanics in the context of high unemployment.
